Coming Events:
Wednesday (!), March 17th, 19h15: Talk. "What does African Modernity mean? Is it permeated by the former colonial powers or is there a specific African Modernity? Does it only exist in the metropoles?
Wednesday (!), March 31st, 19h15: Reading. Ben Okri: Astonishing the Gods (in English language). The reading is accompanied by a foto show of African metropoles.
Thursday, April 8th, 19h15: Movie. "Drum" from Zola Maseko. A movie about the struggle against Apartheid in South Africa, seen through the eyes of an African filmmaker.
Thursday, April 15th, 19h15: Talk. We continue the discussion about African Modernity.
